Welcome to the website of the Acoustical Society of the Netherlands

The "NAG" is an acronym of "Nederlands Akoestisch Genootschap" (the Acoustical Society of the Netherlands).
Its 500 members are from the Dutch acoustical industries, universities and research institutes.
Our main objective is to encourage the development and the applications of the science of acoustics and acoustical techniques.

To our members: If you do receive our meeting convocation by mail, but not by email, please send us your present email address by filling in the address change form.

The NAG tries to achieve its objectives, among others, by

• organising scientific meetings, approximately every 3 months.

• publication of a journal with the proceedings of each scientific meeting

• publication of the NAG-almanak, including a list of all society members and sponsors, publications of the NAG, courses, standards and institutions.

• students can apply for a grant to cover costs for attending conferences and/or scientific meetings, held on the subject of Underwater Acoustics and Signal Processing.
